PRIVACY POLICY & PUBLIC-RECORD DATA NOTICE

How CivicTrigger handles subscriber account data, Stripe payment security, and public-record municipal building permit and County Tax Assessor datasets.

1. PUBLIC-RECORD FOIA & OPEN-DATA SOURCES

CivicTrigger indexes strictly public government records published by municipal building departments, code compliance agencies, and County Tax Assessor / Appraisal District offices (including DCAD, Collin CAD, TCAD, Maricopa Assessor, Cook County Assessor, King County Assessments, and equivalent county registries).

  • Government Record Transparency: Every lead row includes the municipal permit or violation number and links back to the originating government portal where available.
  • Zero Consumer Skip-Trace Resale: CivicTrigger does not sell or distribute private consumer cell phone databases. Our BYOK export format simply structures public tax-roll owner names and mailing addresses so licensed businesses can use their own compliant direct-mail or skip-trace vendors.

2. SUBSCRIBER & CHECKOUT DATA COLLECTION

When you purchase a lead sheet or subscription on CivicTrigger, we collect only the minimum business information required to provision your feed:

  • Business Contact Details: Company name, dispatch email address, and optional business phone number entered at checkout.
  • Stripe PCI-DSS Level 1 Payment Processing: All credit card and payment credentials are processed directly by Stripe, Inc. CivicTrigger never stores, views, or logs raw credit card numbers on our servers.
  • No Resale of Customer Lists: We never sell, rent, or share our paying subscribers' email addresses or territory selections with third parties.

3. B2B EMAIL OUTREACH & INSTANT OPT-OUT

CivicTrigger sends low-volume, plain-text B2B notifications to licensed contractors whose trade specialty matches active municipal building permits in their county.

  • 1-Word Opt-Out: Any contractor receiving an outreach message can reply "stop" or email support@civictrigger.com to be permanently suppressed across all CivicTrigger domains immediately.
  • Strict Volume Controls: We enforce strict daily per-mailbox limits and never send bulk unsolicited consumer marketing.

4. RECORD REMOVAL & PRIVACY CONTACT

Property owners or contractors who wish to suppress a public-record listing from the CivicTrigger display portal or inquire about data privacy may contact our compliance desk at any time:
